Introduction to Drawing Class, assignment 6 - make a piece in the style of a master. I chose Victor Hugo (of Les Mis fame), and decided that the Argonath would fit pretty perfectly in his style. I was also debating Gondor and Helm's Deep. Maybe for future works.
Hugo's style is a lot of sepia and black, with very high contrast color schemes. Loose landscapes with tight architecture. I hope I mimicked it successfully.
This was my 4th time working with inks, but my first time trying to create a finished piece with inks. You can actually see my progression of skill from the left side to the right side as I got more familiar with the medium.
