HEAVY SPOILERS I'M SORRY BUT I REALLY WANTED TO DRAW THIS!

The plot is interesting but very confusing. The translated stuff so far barely touches some confirmations but it's really in the raw Japanese and even Chinese chapters that revealed a lot more and confirmed things.

So now to put everything in spoiler tag.

After finding out pretty much everyone in Amatsuki are actually people from the real world, though their appearances and personalities can really change, this idea came to mind to show to the sides that isn't Kon 'cause yeah and he's still very questionable. No lie I kinda skimmed through the flashback parts of the real world 'cause it didn't make much sense to me and wasn't as entertaining as Amatsuki world. I did go back and read through that again and it made much more sense, phhft the newer chapters clear up a lot of things including why they did the parallels with the story and flashbacks.

So yeah. In like chapter 100 something unless I can't read, Bonten/Hiwa/Byakuroku(Jr.) is confirmed to be Midori Sensai, a genius heir to the mysterious/shady/big Sensai Coorporation and happened to be missing/hospitalized for like 10 years. No wonder Bonten doesn't want Amatsuki to be destroyed. Have a tough life or be hospitalized (and apparently experimented? on) for the rest of your life? Ginshuu/Ayame on the other hand. Man, he was a stalker but that's digressing too much.

Anyways, I wanted to show a conflicted/sad Bonten with his real (pitiful) self as his shadow. The angle and poses are a little... Ugh.... But I tried... I don't know how to fix it exactly, tried a lot already, so I went with it. I think it's partly the clothes to blame since it kind of adds an illusion that Bonten's body is a lot skinny than he should be. Ah, I've also been experimenting with sharper shading than my usual BLEND EVERYTHING style. It's a lot faster than trying to blend everything nicely while still showing the shadows but some parts I rather blend. Also working on a bigger canvas than scaling down to make the lines look smoother. Yep.

Side note. I've read the author's other works and loved how cute and funny they were (Mr. Morning was the first I read, then Mr. Applicant, then Amatsuki and Haigakura). Though the only one I really finished was Mr. Morning because... couldn't find the other chapters...

Might be doing some DGM fanart since it came back to serialization. We'll see.
