Wow, I'm amazed at how many entries this challenge has. Anyway, I think this was a wonderful idea.

When I sat down and started work on this wallpaper, I wanted to do something that was specifically me. Something that someone could look at and go 'yup, that's her alright'. I ran through so many ideas - none of which worked at all - that I nearly gave up. You see, I've never had a character in mind for my username. I didn't even actually have a picture of an elf in mind when I created this account. (I think I was coming off a Lord of the Rings binge, though.)

So, I was trying to thing of what would work for me, when I finally concluded that I should quit trying to put a character on here. So, as I said, I had nearly given up when I wondered why I hadn't even thought of doing a Steampunk wallpaper. (Really, where was my mind at?)

I can guarantee you one thing: This wallpaper is me. It is also one of the most personal wallpapers that I have ever posted.
