What happens when you listen to Speechless in Japanese as well as Caleb Hyles's Cover and other songs that may or may not be related to Rika? Binged watched the entirety of Higurashi no Naku no Kori ni both seasons as well as checking out the new series? This wallpaper...and the ideas of this wallpaper.

The focus of this wallpaper is of course Rika Furude. Somehow, she found herself back in the June of 1983 in Hinamizawa when the tragedies occurred, which may or may not be related to Oyashiro-sama's curse. She finds herself frustrated. In the current episodes I watched, she finds herself feeling hopeless, wondering why the hell she is back in this hellish time loop cycle, seeing these tragedies occur over and over, when she escaped this hellish fate before? A little hesitant, she finds the will to continue, but gets defeated over and over, will she get back to her life outside the loop? Is there another entitity (besides Miyo Takano) who is responsible for the village of Hinamizawa falling victim to Hinamizawa Syndrome once again? All these questions and more plague the mind as I watched this new series. It's good, dramatic and sad....and I had to make a wallpaper tribute for it. So I did.

This is my first wallpaper edit for 2021. Higurashi brought me out of my editing block. This series (the anime at least cause that's all I've watched so far) is very terrifying, brutal but amazing nonetheless. There's something about Higurashi that makes me want more. Enjoy the wallpaper everyone.
